Data Sources
CheckInvestNg sources its rates from official Nigerian financial institutions — CBN figures are auto-updated, while DMO and fund rates are manually verified:
- —Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) — NTB auction results, headline inflation (CPI), Monetary Policy Rate
- —Foreign-exchange data providers — USD/NGN market mid-rate — not the CBN official window (NAFEX/FMDQ)
- —Debt Management Office (DMO) — FGN Savings Bond rates, FGN bond yield curve, auction announcements
- —Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) — Registered mutual funds, MMF yields, fund manager information
